4th ordinary Congress of the rally for Mali

The party calls on the international community to resolutely engage in the implementation of the agreement

 

The Palace of Culture Amadou John b. of Bamako was home Saturday, October 22, 2016, the opening ceremony of the 4th ordinary Congress of the rally for Mali (RPM). The so-called ceremony was chaired by the acting president of the national political bureau of the Rpm, Boulkassoum Haidara, in the presence of the first lady, Mrs. Keita Aminata Maiga, Prime Minister Modibo Keita and members of his Government, barons of the party, representatives of the friends parties at the national level and subregional, the Secretary general of the Socialist international, Luis Ayala and many other personalities. During his address, Dr. Boulkassoum Haidara has indicated that the positive results achieved by the power must not blanked the security challenges of the time. In addition, he urged the international community to resolutely engage in the implementation of the agreement for peace and national reconciliation, which is a prerequisite for any process of economic, social and cultural development for Mali.

After the intervention of the President of the women of the Rpm, Ms. Diawara Leidi Touré, the Acting Chairman of the ruling party, Dr. Boulkassoum Haïdara did know that the defection, on 26 September 2016, 4 members of the Rpm should be taken as a non event. «For recent nomadism operated in the parliamentary majority, the Convention of political parties of the presidential majority (CMP) renews its support to its members and reminding those who jumped ship parliamentary majority, the safety advice provided in the material at all passenger when crossing an area of turbulence, is to remain serene pressing or by attaching the belt.»

He wished the restoring sustainable peace and sovereignty with the implementation of the agreement for peace and reconciliation from the process of Algiers signed on 15 May and 20 June 2015.

Then, he welcomed the opening of schools in Kidal on 17 October last in a national setting in the presence of the Governor of that region and directors of academies.

"We invite the school authorities to make all the arrangements so that this great event, prelude to the relocation of the administration, is not a mirage.

All of the forces ensuring the safety and serenity of the teachers and management must be mobilised to put an end to the nightmare of Kidal", he said.

According to him, the positive results achieved by the Government should not blanked the security challenges of the time.

"We are committed to support the efforts of the head of State in the consolidation of the rough assets and implementing efficient and effective agreement on peace and national reconciliation, the rebuilding of the State with the new constitution and the strengthening of decentralization for the new political regionalization.

In times of difficulties, our country has benefited from international solidarity also of bilaterally and multilaterally. This solidarity has allowed for the stabilisation of the country and made possible the immense progress observed.

However, we invite the international community to resolutely engage in the implementation of the agreement for peace and national reconciliation, which is a prerequisite for any process of economic, social and cultural development for Mali", said Boulkassoum Haidara.

Finally, he took advantage of the presence of the leaders of the other political parties to urge politicians, to remain supportive for safeguarding of the territorial integrity of the country, its national unity and social cohesion.

About thirty friends political parties who took the floor expressed every success in the work of the Congress.
